ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Hired and organized a team of project managers to implement capital projects and established a track record for consistently meeting or exceeding scope, schedule, and cost requirements.

Managed conversion of several hundred drawings to CAD format, while re-designing to incorporate standardized details. Effort involved approximately $1,000,000 in contracted engineering services, as well as approximately 5000 in-house man-hours, and included 7 glass melting furnaces.

This resulted in engineering savings of $150,000 per melter for subsequent rebuilds and approximately 20% lower rebuild costs due to standardized purchases, easier installation, and smaller volumes of advanced long lead purchases.
Hired and organized a team of CAD operators that quickly developed and instituted standardized formats for use with in-house engineering and coordination with contracted engineering firms. Played key role in developing standard forms and documents for implementing capital projects.
