From your Commissioner Candidates,

                             Dave & Tom

We believe people want a government that reflects their values, listens to their concerns, and plans responsibly for the future.

That’s exactly what we think—and why we're asking you to stand with us.

Our opponents believe that suing the township is the best way to resolve issues. They will spend more of your hard earned tax money to make a political statement.

Also according to current commissioners and counsel this suit may cost the township millions of dollars in contract cost without building anything.

Our opponents also have stated that we support this lawsuit against the township. We unequivocally opposed it. We never stated it nor have we even talked to them about the suit or anything else. These are the types of tactics that they believe win elections, we oppose them.

Our opponents had the chance to run the township in a fiscally responsible way, but chose not to, causing the current board to sell the sewer system to avoid financial default and the state taking over the township.

Our opponents also approved multiple new developments without the proper guardrails in place ensuring contractors up hold their commitments in finishing work.

Do we really want to go backwards to the same old issues and ideas moving forward?

Here are some of the tenants we consider paramount.

1. Protecting Open Space & a Long-Term Common-Sense Plan

  • Preserve open spaces to maintain its rural charm and character.

  • Reject development plans that threaten protected open spaces, like the failed municipal complex on Smola Farm.

  • Make development decisions that align with the community’s values and priorities.

  • Safeguard Pennsylvania’s open space laws and ensure long-term, sustainable land use planning.

2. Responsible Budgeting & Smart Spending

  • Address financial overspends and eliminate wasteful spending.

  • Prioritize essential services, such as 24-hour policing and infrastructure maintenance.

  • Cut unnecessary costs like lawsuits, and implement fiscal discipline to ensure financial health.

  • Ensure accountability for past budget deficits and inter-fund borrowing practices.

3. Open & Trustworthy Government

  • Build trust through transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership.

  • Involve the community in key decisions to avoid frustration and secrecy.

  • Restore confidence in township leadership by making decisions openly and with long-term stability in mind.

  • Ensure clear communication and public input to strengthen the relationship between residents and government.

4. Respecting Residents & Encouraging Community Engagement

  • Foster a respectful, inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.

  • Encourage open dialogue and engagement, ensuring residents never feel intimidated for expressing concerns.

  • Respect differing opinions and use them to create collaborative solutions for the community.

  • Empower residents to actively participate in local governance and decision-making processes.
